Couple of questions Re Windows 7.

Is there a way to hide the thin white border that runs across the top of the taskbar (probably only apparent when using a dark/black theme and when viewing desktop - again with dark colours)?

Any way to disable the ugly 'active/highlighted' background to icons on select/hover?

I have 'check spelling as I type' ticked in the latest version of Firefox, but it doesn't seem to be working. Nor do I have the usual 'check spelling/languages' option available on right-click of mouse.
