Moving from CodePlex to GitHub

Alex
CodePlex is decidedly old hat now, and I'm frequently getting random errors when trying to push to the Mercurial repository there.

I'm much more comfortable with Git and GitHub these days. Three years ago I was considering a migration to GitHub, but the Git tooling on Windows wasn't pleasant. But now GitHub for Windows (https://windows.github.com/) makes things much easier.

So, I've imported the Quest repo to https://github.com/textadventures/quest

The CodePlex site will gain a prominent "we've moved" message soonish, and I'll also have a look at importing the issues that are logged there.

Pertex
If it's not possible to import issues I will create them in github

Alex
Thanks for the offer Pertex! Luckily for you, I've found an import script that works nicely - so all the issues will be transferred across in the next hour or so.

(The script is https://github.com/slide/cp2gh, in case anybody is interested)

Alex
All issues have now been migrated, so we are officially live on GitHub.

Quest's homepage on CodePlex has been updated to point to the new GitHub address.

All existing issues have been closed on CodePlex, so please don't log any new ones there - log them on GitHub instead: https://github.com/textadventures/quest ... state=open
