Translations

Hi all,
to update our translation files (i.e. italian.asxl), it is possible to know, at every new release of Quest, the changes to English.asxl?

Alex
You can keep an eye on the very latest development version in CodePlex - you can browse the source at http://quest.codeplex.com/SourceControl/list/changesets and you can find English.aslx in WorldModel\WorldModel\Core\Languages

About English.aslx, please, we need to know: do you update it ONLY at every new release of Quest?

Alex
Correct - there's no way for it to be updated except as part of a Quest release.

At the moment anyway... but it might be nice to have some way of updating the Core libraries (or maybe just the translations) outside of the main Quest release cycle. Not something that's going to happen very soon though.

Good. Keep in mind that when this will be possible, we need to be alerted every time english.asxl is updated, because probably we have to change italian.asxl too.

Here is a little tool to compare two language files (written in VBA for Winword2007/2010) . Choose the newest english.aslx and your language file and it writes all missing tags into an output file.
