New mini-game

Postby thesynapse » Tue Dec 27, 2011 4:45 pm

Hi there all (esp. Alex),

I was at the Changing the Game conference (I'm Tom - the guy that presented on the 'making a game/story' resource) and since IO have set this competition I've decided to have a stab at using Quest 5 to make an 'escape from the (four) room(s)' game using KS3 science knowledge.

So far I think this is a really great tool and the hard work that you've done on it shows. Of course there's a learning curve associated with any tool, but I'm gradually getting there with bringing my puzzle ideas to life!

I'll let you know what I come up with!

Cheers,

Tom

There are a bunch of teachers explore IF now - we are using the #Quest tag on Twitter.

The is a Delicious stack
http://delicious.com/stacks/view/GN6ifD
and all the progress we have made teaching is scattered on the blog
http://www.kristianstill.co.uk/wordpress/category/teaching-2/interactive-fiction/ plus a Youtube channel and some Dropbox shared resources.

Why not get stuck in?
