changing display settings while playing a game

Marzipan
So I'm taking a look at a couple games I downloaded at some point, and it turns out that I could really live without a big map taking up the top half of the screen. The panes on the side can be a bit annoying too, though not as bad. I'm stuck on a laptop right now and don't have a huge screen to begin with...is there anyway to disable the map from the runner. Or even some trick to opening it up in the editor and changing it there?

If they're .quest files, you can rename the .quest to .zip (or better yet, copy it), and then you can open it and see all the files inside. The main .aslx file will be "compiled" to some extent, where all the libraries have been pulled in, all the "editor" types have been removed, etc. But you should be able to find where the map attribute is set and set it to false.

The other way is to use HTML Tools in the game to find the overlay and set its "display" css style to "none".
