EXE build help

Opsan
I currently have Quest 5.2, I love it so far, it's easy to use and I can really use my imagination with it, but I want to share this on my website. Now, there's no current way I can directly share the game as I want to, but please tell me if I can solve this little "problem."

I want to make the game into an "exe" file extension, so anyone can play it. This is currently not possible with the current build of Quest, and I want to know why.

Now before you give me alternatives like:

1. You can just share it as a .quest file extension
or
2. Share it on the website!
I have to tell you
1. I don't want people to download a second program to play the game.
and
2. I don't want to share it on the website.

So, if there's anything out there, a quest to exe converter or something let me now. Thank you all in advance!

There isn't, and there isn't likely to be. From what Alex has told me, the point of Quest 5 was to move to web-based technologies so he didn't see a point in making a compiler as that sort of defeats the purpose of what he's working towards with this version.

You could upload it to the website and make it unlisted, then use an iframe to embed it in your own website perhaps?

Alex please! We need this! I'm trying to post my game to steam. It needs some sort of file extension other then .js .html .quest.
It does, however support .exe!
There's got to be some way

I think I have somewhat of a solution, use Visual Basic to make a sloppy looking layout and use the HTML part to link to your game but I doubt it'll get accepted on Steam that way but at least you have a .exe file :)
